I was expecting the usual low prices and generic menu options of a small Chinese restaurant; as well as the typical lack of depth in flavor with the dishes (especially outside of San Mateo and Millbrae). However, I was pleasantly surprised by the diverse menu offerings that stood out from the usual fare. I can honestly say this the only 5 star review (that I recall, at least) I 've ever given a restaurant. If you want good American Chinese food, this is your place. Plentiful portions, deep flavor, and plenty of options. I have lost track of how many times I 've eaten here, and I 'm totally fine with that. The owner is just about the sweetest lady you 'll ever meet, and will always go out of her way to accommodate you. A few menu suggestions: get the hot and sour soup, and ask for spicy/hot oil mix the hot oil in with your soup, and thank me later. I've been coming pretty regularly for years and the food is always good and the service friendly. Favorites include Beef Chow Fun,. Singapore fried noodles, clear cooked Bok Choi. Update as of May 2022 still awesome. Please stop by and get some great food and help this small family business survive the times.
Don't let the casual appearance fool you, George serves up excellent dishes at this restaurant. My group visited twice this week and were very impressed. Emily, our server, was friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the menu. I highly recommend following her recommendations when ordering.

I can't find out how this place can cure such diversity and yet has such good quality. They give you a lot of food. A typical take order lasts for a few days.
Great Chinese food. Had something I had never seen before Mongolian Beef Chow Mein. Two of my favorite dishes all in one. Chef George is really good.
The food at this restaurant is fantastic. I specifically go there for the Dan noodles, they are amazing.
