we made it to new chapter last night after we heard great things about the restaurant. young we were happy that we, eating was amazing, I chose the Scotch egg starter, this bore no similarity with the super market picnic food, it was luscious with the egg still soft and surrounded by points of the inherited purée, fresh heaps and pea shoots, I was in the sky. it followed the pork press that I had many paintings this cut, but this was beautifully presented with a slowly boiled pork and baby beet, delicious. the personal was attentive and friendly, the other diners were a real baptism, which meant high deck that conversation was possible. all in all a winner, we will be back

We had a wonderful evening meal in New Chapter. The restaurant is in a more residential area than we were expecting about 25 minute walk from Edinburgh centre where we were staying but it was worth the walk. The food was amazing everything is presented so well and tastes wonderful! The only downfall was that we were never asked if we wanted dessert (which we really did! . We eventually got the servers attention and ordered some really lovely dessert but we almost missed out on this! Would be nice to have a cocktail menu also but the wine list was extensive. Overall I would definitely recommend New Chapter.

we came to dinner and we loved it absolutely. eating is delicious, I recomend the scallops and the steak. the steak was cooked to perfection! my friends had the dumbest and they loved it too. the service is a very friendly staff that treats us like a royal treatment. I just loved it. I'm 100% again. many thanks to the team there and well made to the cook.

a lunch for my wife's birthday. aga was professional, friendly and friendly. it is a credit to the place. eating was simply wonderful and the chefs had much annoyed about what was a lunch set menu.
