I got an order of the Shanghai soup dumplings and potstickers to go. There is a $20 credit minimum which was a little steep as I really only wanted the soup dumplings but thought I'd give the potstickers a go. The soup dumplings were pretty good. Piping hot, good size, and pretty flavorful. I know when you get it to go it might make them a little soggy, but I ate them right away and I enjoyed them. The potstickers on the other hand were inedible. It tasted like they used old frying oil as there were burnt particles on the potstickers and they just had a bad flavor (from the oil). It looks a little sketchy at first, but there are some cute details. The food is hot and satisfying, with well-sized portions for a reasonable price. The service is quiet, but competent. Dumplings and soups are great comfort food, while the honey walnut prawns and lemon chicken are a good take on american-style chinese food. It’s worth a convenient detour to eat here.Vegetarian options: The mixed vegetable soup was very hearty. There were plenty of vegetarian options and probably some vegan ones too.Wheelchair accessibility: Had buttons on the door to open automatically if necessary.
My family and I were in the mood for soup dumplings and figured we'd give this place a try since we've been to Shanghai House and wanted to compare and contrast. Walked in there after opening hours and was initially ignored and then gruffly told by the guy mopping the floor they weren't open yet. Glad I didn't waste my money attempting to give this sad place my business. I live in the neighborhood and won't ever be going there again. Shanghai House service isn't exactly friendly or fast but at least you get somewhat acknowledged.
Yes. It is open. Can takeout or sit in (take out has been quick, and kind). Good dumplings. Lots of flavor. I've been 3 times now, and it's consistently good (i wouldn't say stunning, but it's been consistently good, as expected). I've been getting dandan noodles, shanghai soup dumplings, some regular dumplings and pea sprouts or green beans.

The Bao Bao's are clearly the highlight of this restaurant. (Pork belly and the shrimp) these were incredible. The other dumplings were good but not worth driving to from where I am in the Ingleside. The place has no ambiance, no frills, which is fine by me. But like I said, those Bao Bao's are killer!!
I placed an online order with a quoted wait time of 20-30 minutes, but it was actually ready and bagged in just 10 minutes. The BBQ Dumplings were incredible and the shrimp fried rice was also delicious.
Awesome xiaolongbao (Shanghainese dumplings) and yummy dishes all round at very reasonable prices. We love this place and would go a lot more often if we lived closer.
Went for lunch today while doing laundry up the street. Simple delicious food. Garlic broccoli over rice. Perfect everything. Wish I lived in the neighborhood!

Simple Chinese restaurant that serves traditional dumplings without any fancy additions. The dishes are expertly prepared and flavorful.
Xiao long baos and pan fried dumplings were very good. The price and quantity is also great.
