New Golden Lake Chinese

We have not had food from this Restaurant for a number of years as it was never a great place to visit and the food was not great , however we decided to get a Takeaway and the establishment where I was going to get...it from was closed due to Chinese New Year ????? So as this place was just around the corner I thought well we will try it . I ordered Boneless Chicken with Plum Sauce , Combination Duck and small Special Fried Rice . The Restaurant was not particularly busy . 10 minutes later I was on my way home with our order . The thing that struck me when I got in my car was the strong Odour coming from the bag. A very handy 2 minute walk from our hotel accomodation was the primary reason for us to visit the Golden Dragon. The place was almost packed which is always a good sign. All of our dishes were fantastic, well prepared, presented and using great produce....The staff were friendly and welcoming. The drinks list is well priced too. Will definitely be back and soon.

Were were travelling thru and called in for a takeaway. From the lunch menu we ordered the Curried Chicken and Mongolian Beef, both with fried fried. Our meals were a very generous serving and were delicious. Great value at $9.80 each. We were also given...cutlery and serviettes. Very friendly and quick service. High recommend

good food , good atmosphere , beer and wine is available , lunch meals are at $9.80 per meal . i visit this restaurant frequently and it dose depend on who is in the kitchen weather your meal is good or outstanding .
