New Hong Kong Chef Ii

Not appetizing though it appears fresh and delicious. I don’t know why they use this red ketchup like sauce for a garlic sauce. I only tried this place cause it’s close to where I am. Garlic sauce supposed to be brown not ketchup color. I specifically asked for not saucy but it’s stillSauced up. I like the cabbage roll crispy and not too thick wrap. It’s well cooked unlike other Chinese place that sell under cooked egg rolls with thick wrappers. I probably would have like the food if not for the weird sauce they put. It’s not Chinese like cooking. Lol the eggplant I ordered is not fully cooked like it’s rushed. I originally asked for a beef but they say they don’t serve eggplants with beef only chicken. If other places make it with beef what difference does it make! Oh well. U can make string beans, broccoli, mixed vegetable with beef but not with eggplant! What kind of logic is that lol.

Waited for over an hour on the food and they messed up my order and gave me something completely different.

This place is five minutes away from my job. The food is good and the workers are friendly.
