Ordered food at 7:02pm and was advised via email that delivery would be delayed by 30 mins and to expect delivery 8:32pm. Started phoning at 20:58pm only to be told it would be 5 minutes away. Food was finally received after 9:30pm after 12 phone calls that were not answered from my phone number but answered straight away when called from another number or my landline. Even though the starters were cold and the keema naan separated into two parts the main meals were hot and tasty.
I contacted them the next day, and they apologized, saying they could have corrected the issue if I had called when the food arrived. Unfortunately, this was not possible at 10:30 in the evening. They did not offer any other compensation. I will not be ordering from them again. It felt like the food had been reheated from the previous night. Not a pleasant experience. For those who enjoy New Lahore, please continue to do so. This was just my personal experience.
My partner and I have been going to this restaurant regularly for the past few months. The service is excellent and the food is fantastic. My favorite dish is the old style chicken pathia, and even my partner's son tried it and liked it better than his usual new style Madras. In my opinion, this is the best curry around!
We were a party of 8 celebrating a family birthday from out of Town. We were treated exceptionally by all the staff and chef was keen for my (Pakistani) brother in law to try his special sauce very yummy. Had a very warm and homely ambiance. The food at this restaurant is fantastic, and the prices are reasonable. Every dish is served piping hot and bursting with flavor. The atmosphere is great, and the service is fast. I appreciate that they offer choices between old style and new style cooking methods, which not many other places do.
