New Light Healthy Sushi

My boyfriend and his friend have been going here for years. Until a few months ago, everything was fine. Last time they went, the staff was making fun of his friend's weight and said that because he was overweight that they wouldn't allow him to eat there. They thought it was a joke cause the staff was laughing but it was enough for the friend to feel uncomfortable so they left. They went again today to give it another chance. The staff told the them flat out that they wouldn't serve them because the friend is overweight. It's an AYCE place. I guess they are trying to control how much people eat. I go here allot. Good portions and a great price. Staff is super friendly and the chefs are personable and take your order at the bar. It's not super fancy but the place stays realistic. Sushi is amazing, but the in- kitchen items need some help. Get the all you can eat special if you can handle allot of sushi. This place stays consistent, and not allot of people know how chill this place is (almost too chill). Place is one step away from becoming a sushi sports bar but has the decency to keep it a haven for sushi lovers.

Absolutely not worth $35 for the all you can eat. The quality of the fish seems like they buy it from the local CVS. The ONE sushi maker was away from the counter longer than he was making sushi for the 8 people (4 parties). There was a 20 minute gap when we first got there until he was even at the counter for us to order. The bathroom was nasty. Looks like it hasn't seen a mop in a few months at least. The only good thing about our experience, Elisabeth was very nice. How this place is still open is beyond me.
