It's a decent spot, but the chicken either seemed to have been sitting out for longer than expected or was slightly overcooked. Still, it had great flavor. The potato wedges, on the other hand, were tasty, well-seasoned, and perfectly crispy. The “boom boom” sauce was excellent—whatever it is! In terms of pricing, it's a bit pricier than it should be, especially compared to other nearby chicken places. Also, I think it's unreasonable to charge for ketchup or catsup (however you prefer to spell it) when you order fries or wedges!
Super tasty and crispy with just the right amount of spice. The fried chicken was egg and dairy free. The guy who owns the place was really friendly and upbeat. We had the red beans n rice ,coleslaw and mashed potatoes with beef gravy as our sides. The only thing that could have been better was the instant mashed potatoes. I'll be going back for sure ! Dietary restrictions: The fried chicken is dairy and egg free.
We've ordered takeout of chicken, biscuits, and fries through GrubHub several times, and the chicken is absolutely fantastic! Each time, it's been crispy, well-seasoned, and juicy. The fries are flavorful, and the biscuits are delightful. I can't recommend this place highly enough; it's truly some of the best fried chicken in Grand Rapids!
We always order the tenders with biscuits and jambalaya. The house boom boom sauce is incredibly tasty; I wish I could buy it by the bottle! I love this place because there’s no wait for great food. The prices are fair, and the owner is friendly and attentive.

Picked up a DoorDash from here and the owner completely body shamed me asking me if I eat because I am way too skinny. He kept repeating it too. It was really rude and random.
This man was very down to earth, I have been looking for a place like this in the city for a while food really hit home And he makes everyone feel home
My family stopped for lunch at New Orlean`s crispy chicken on our way to Chicago, ILWe ordered 12 chicken wigs, Junbalaya, biscuits and drinks.
