I don't know whete this place gets their reviews but something doesn't gel. I ordered fried wonton and they wete reasonably priced and good. That's where it ends. My other orders were steamed chicken and broccoli and Kung Pao chicken. The steamed chicken was $15. That's okay but the portion was 75% broccoli. If the dish was 8 or 9 dollars it would have been reasonable. But this was a total ripoff.Next the Kung Pao suffered from the same issue of lack of chicken. The dish was mostly vegetables. Worse than that it was tasteless. The dish it supposed to be spicy it was so bland I fed it to my dog. He disagrees with me and thought it was good. The food was okay, I said no onions and been sprouts, they give me a plate of rice filled with onions. Im not bothering to call, because I chose to eat it the next day. I'm hungry, so I'll have to pick out all of these onions.Dietary restrictions: I asked for no onions, they gave me a lot of onions, so if you have restrictions, good luck.
I use General Tso’s Chicken combo platter as a gauge for good take out. This was the best I’ve had in quite awhile. The flavor was very good and the chicken chunks were tender and not stringy like some others. Also the egg roll was crispy and tasted fresh.
I always choose this place for Chinese food in South Plainfield. The staff is very friendly and the food is fantastic. I've ordered from here at least 10 times and have never had any problems. Their wonton soup is the most delicious I've ever tasted.
