Visited recently with my husband who has coeliac so can't have gluten. It is so nice for him to be given the same menu as other diners and not to be handed an allergens folder or tablet to work out for himself what he actually can eat. Some of the food on the menu is actually gluten free anyway and an absolute treat for him to have beer battered fish and chips. Staff are really switched on about gluten free options and, if in doubt, they are quick to check things with the kitchen. Really a refreshing change for him not to feel like a leper. Coeliac is a medical condition, not a lifestyle choice and to be able to have a choice of mains and deserts makes it a pleasure to eat out rather than a...
