This local Vietnamese bakery is incredibly friendly and offers a variety of delicious options. We have tried their pies, which are only $3.50 and come in a selection of 9 different flavors. The staff is welcoming and the hot bread rolls are a must-try, especially for parties. The pork rolls are also a standout, with generous fillings and just the right amount of heat. If you're in the Ermington area, this is the perfect spot for a tasty and satisfying meal.
This is an excellent Vietnamese bakery/takeaway that serves up great value pork/ beef/ salad rolls - made on the spot from fresh ingredients including exotics like chili, coriander and lemongrass (lemongrass costs 50 cents extra). They also bake their own pies. If you ever find yourself stranded in Ermington at lunchtime, look no further. Note the business is cash only - not surprising really given the cheap-as-chips prices.
This is my favorite place to get a pork roll in the area. They serve very generous portions with delicious pate, real mayo (not butter), and crunchy carrot and radish. What makes this place stand out from others is that they use chunky pieces of chopped BBQ pork in their regular pork roll, instead of just the typical sliced cold cuts. Just a heads up, they will add lettuce to your pork roll unless you specify otherwise.
Nhu Y Kings Hot Bread is a LEGENDARY Vietnamese Bakery that my wife and I have been going to forever. I can't believe it's taken me this long to finally 5 star them. We are DIE HARD fans of their Pork Rolls Salad Rolls. Fresh bread, top vegetables and salads and they get the order spot on. Bought a pork roll in the morning and bread was deliciously crispy. Been here a few times and always stop by for something. Pork rolls and pies are $1 cheaper than many other bakeries. Their pork rolls has chopped up pork pieces with chunks of fat/skin. I'm not fan of the fat so I tend to flick them out.
Lemongrass pork beef rolls are super awesome. I've also found not eating them straight away, on the 20 minute drive back to work let's the butter and flavours soak into the bread, it just works. I've lined up at this place for 30 minutes plus and every time it's worth the wait. Highly recommended
This is a local gem.Fresh bread rolls and other baked goods like finger buns,cheese & bacon rolls, vanilla slices etc.They also sell hot pies, sausage rolls & mini pizzas.They have started making Vietnamese rolls with an Asian twist.Well worth trying.So if you're in Ermington, give them a go!
This is the best pork roll I have ever had in Sydney, no question. The roll is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with a generous portion size. The pate is fantastic and the fatty pork pieces are absolutely delicious. Reserva una mesa ahora
We travel to Sydney from Canberra regularly and this is one of our favourite stops. Best Bahn Mi ever, loaded up with fresh salads and meat. Highly recommended, super cheap lunch!
