Went here with my wife and a few friends for a brunch/meeting. The place was lovely, modern outlook yet simple and classy. Staffs were polite and friendly, the owner (both husband and wife) were even more friendly. Service was at the top with food coming in quickly and beautifully. Food here was a bit on the pricey side and unfortunately the portion was not big enough to justify the price. But, that being said, taste-wise and look-wise were top-notch! We came here for brunch and ordered the mac n cheese eggs benny, buttermilk pancakes with slab bacon, honeycomb and caramel creme, the nic and kolo burger with brisket, angus patty, jalapeño and fries and the deconstructed lemon meringue off their dessert menu. We enjoyed all the meals. The pancakes were the standout of the day. They were fluffy, generously topped and a perfect combo of sweet and savoury. I liked the new spin on the eggs benny. I liked the Mac n cheese croquettes although they could've been cheesier. The burger was decent, not a stand out and probably the least fave dish of the day. The deconstructed lemon meringue was beautifully presented and tasted as good as it looked!...

Nice cafe located in a fabulous suburb. We came early on a Saturday morning, we did notice the other two cafes down the road were packed and this one had no one it it yet? But we trusted the reviews on zomato and decided to give it a go. I had the mushroom and kale dish with eggs and salsa verde $21.50. It was a decent size and everything was cooked lovely. I really enjoyed the crunch of the hazelnuts, but not being a huge fan of salsa verde I kind of struggled to see that fitted in ! I think that's just me though. M had the mac and cheese eggs Benedict, he enjoyed the mac and cheese side but the asparagus was a little hard to eat, and the ham hock a little dry ,$23. The coffee were Devine.... went for brunch today with a groupon voucher. staff were lovely and the cafe itself was a nice place to spend a sunny sunday arvo. pancakes with bacon were okay but could've done with a bit more sauce. unfortunately the crab omelette was not on the menu any more, so we had the crab with eggs. smallest portion of crab (like half a small soft shell crab) and not sure what eggs were used but they're half the size of a normal egg. for 22$ (or 21$ can't quite remember the exact price), definitely not worth it at all. even with a 29$ groupon we felt this was a bit of a rip off, and the price didn't even come with drinks. the place is nice, but maybe just for a coffee because that seems to be the o...

Really impressed with Nic & Kolo! Came here for a nice brunch on a wintery Saturday morning. The place was pretty full but the staff still managed to fit us in outside under the heater. Could not fault the service; the staff were bubbly, accommodating and the service was relatively fast (our orders came out within 20 minutes). The young waitress we had was awesome, recommending some of her favourite dishes and showing us photos of them. The brunch menu is extensive and the food is excellent. Mixed reaction here. The atmosphere is lovely. Light and bright with friendly staff and a great seating layout. My panko crumbed mac and cheese eggs benedict was delicious. A really clever fusion. JBs Angus burger was meant to come with brisket, but the kitchen had run out. We were advised at the time of ordering but tried the burger anyway. Unfortunately the bun tasted a little old and the burger didn't come with anything else special to compensate for the brisket but by far the French fries were really disappointing. They were very undercooked, firm inside and even cool in some cases.

Very attentive service, and open all day! (It's rare to find a cafe open around 3-4 for afternoon tea). The meal options are on the pricey side but everything coming out of the kitchen looked stunning and I was surrounded by happy diners. This smart cafe has ample seating and excellent service. Food wise we had the buttermilk pancakes and Asian eggs. The buttermilk pancakes were delicious however the Asian eggs weren't our favourite. The use of black glutinous rice in this savory dish definitely did not work out for us, and the egg itself was bland.

Popped over for a brunch. Rarely go south (don't tell my sister)... anyway the food is great, atmosphere really good. Not the cafe for a punter as slightly pricey. Plenty of choices on the menu so you can find what you want...refreshing where I'm seeing menus decline in offering.
