This old time place has been a favorite for decades but it has suffered from modern influences. The quality of the burgers and even the fries has dropped from exceptional to average or even somewhat below average. The meat is no longer juicy and flavorful but now just like the production meat pushed out by the major chains. Toppings are still pretty good and the buns are fine. Fries have become standard fries and the wonderful chili of the good old days has lost body, taste, and joy. Everything is just enough to fill the requirements of being burgers and fries but no longer something special. Everything about Nicks is excellent service food ,friendly staff and management and decor old photo poster from old films with great celebrities. I now have tried two meat menu entrees the veal cutlet and the roast turkey dinner both excellent fresh daily made and complete with soup side salad on main plate with potatoes vegetables and meat entree. It comes with your choice of 3 desert sundaes butterscotch or chocolate flavors or rice pudding with cinnamon. The staff Vicky, Ashley and Potoula and owner Bertha all excellent service and very friendly.

So Happy I tried this place for breakfast!! I had eggs benedict , eggs were cooked exactly as ordered , hasbrowns were perfect right amount of crunchy and softness seasoned perfectly!! My son had bacon and eggs , both portions were very generous . Coffee was non stop , service was top notch and always with a smile. Very very delicious brekky like it was cooked at home!! Will repeat my visit as often as I can to Nick’s Inn

BEST, BEST, BESTBreakfast Buns! Two eggs, bacon, cheese, tomato, lettuce, mayo on a crostiniTOTALLY DELICIOUS!! We call and the friendly girls have our order ready in minutes. What a WONDERFUL family restaurant! We pick up either the Breakfast Buns or the full breakfast: eggs, ham, fries, toast, coffee and take it to a nearby park. Eat-in or take-out or take-out to their patio is availbalbe. What a GREAT restaurant!

Went to Nicks last night and as always it never disappoints... The service was excellent, and the food amazing, one cant ask for more than that... I have the Hot Turkey sandwich and my wife and daughter had burgers....everyone was very happy.

Starts off with lots of parking and just gets better. Amazing service and exceptional quality food. Spotlessly clean and great coffee to top everything off. What a great spot to spend some eating time.

I've been going here since I was born. I've eating the same thing most of my life. Chiliburger with Chili on the Fries. 3 generations have satisfied my hunger. Love you all.

Great place for the local old people to meet. Staff was great, very friendly and attentive. However, Harvey’s is better for their burgers and fries and half the price.

Wow. it was all good. Large portions, real fries and great service. You couldn't find a better restaurant in Headingly. To think, we drove by this place for years.

I called in and got 2 turkey dinners. It was so good fresh and hot food. We always get freindly service. Thank you for having such amazing staff and food
