Great little location with mostly outdoor seating. Had a local recommendation for this off the beaten path pizza and seafood joint. Walk up ordering and take a number. I had 1/2 dozen oysters and a cold lobster roll. Oysters were good could have been cleaned a bit better with more care in shucking. This resulted in some shell in the meat but pretty good overall. Had to sample a lobster roll because there is only one first time on a lobster roll. Have to say it was tasty and meat ratio was pretty good. I've seen this place in passing but I've never stopped in til this weekend. It's a place where you order up front and grab your food when your buzzer goes off. The food itself is delicious! I got the lobster roll which was packed full of lobster. Someone else in my party got a fried soft shell crab which as delicious and not greasy at all. We shared steamers which were absolutely to die for, and fresh too. The pizza looked amazing and I wished I had ordered some but there's always next time definitely recommend, super tasty and relaxed!
I absolutely adore the location, even during winter! The homemade clam chowder is simply delightful. We also tried the mussels with garlic cream sauce, which were rich and flavorful, and came in a generous portion. The menu offers a fantastic variety of food and an impressive selection of beers. The owner/chef was incredibly friendly and warm; it's evident that he is passionate about his work. My only critique is that they use Styrofoam plates and bowls, and I believe they could switch to something more eco-friendly.
We luv Nicky's (as we call it! bcuz it's become a summer tradition to sit outside, drink a beer, watch the traffic stream by on 25A while the kids run up and down the little hill adjacent to the eating/picnic area. They serve Excellent Steamers that never disappoint...and of course...the pizza is good too! We also like the soundtrack(s they play, so it's a win-win way to spend a couple of hours outside summer chillaxin LI-style.

I've been there twice since I live nearby! The outdoor dining area is lovely, and there are no servers, which means no tipping is necessary (haha). Overall, it's a great atmosphere for dining on sunny summer days! I really enjoy their clams; they are always very fresh! I also recommend the mussels. The portion sizes are generous and definitely worth the prices. We left feeling completely full!
Quintessential Long Island clam bar!!! Outdoor eating, side of the road casual with the freshest seafood!!! Best in class doesn't go far enough to describe the friendly service, classic clam bar fare served with a smile!!!! Happy this is I my neighborhood!!!! Can't go wrong with soft shell crab or lobster bisque, fish and chips..... lol bing it!!!!!
I came here on a whim. I figured I try out this clam bar. I got the baked clams. They didn't do a good job. A couple of my clams had sand in it which was pretty disgusting. This was definitely not the bread crumbs. My teeth can tell the difference between breadcrumbs and sand. Hopefully no one else has ever had this experience.
I’m not sure if it was the dishes I ordered, but everything lacked flavor, was overcooked, and had no taste. I should have taken the Yelp star rating as a warning, but I wanted to give this long-standing Smithtown establishment a try. Unfortunately, I was mistaken. Save yourself the trouble—just avoid this place!

This is a great summer spot with outdoor seating and friendly service. Pizza is a homer run and the seafood is great. The lobster roll is very good but a bit pricey. Think it was $25 bucks?? Look forward to eating out on the deck here every spring/summer. Can't go wrong with this spot!!
All you cheapskates keep moving.... Honestly I haven't had better clams in my life. The mussels were also top 3. For sure. The joint is no frills and the staff was super friendly. Please run and eat!
