Dinner at Niesenberg was the highlight of our short trip to Switzerland.The owner of the B&B we stayed at recommended this restaurant to us and without any expectations, we thought we’d give it a try. What a fantastic surprise it was: first of all the building itself is beautiful, traditional, cosy and very romantic. Service from our Dutch waiter was excellent and as professional as you’d find in a 5-star hotel. He recommended a fantastic Portuguese red wine which we’ll certainly try and get a hold of for our cellar at home. Then, the food, which was truly exquisite. One of the best meat stack on Hot stone. Very nice and friendly staff. In the middle of beautiful farmland. Very nice. We enjoyed it a lot.
