The menu is extensive, and the deep-fried California roll was a delightful surprise. It had a hint of spice that enhanced the overall flavor. All the sushi was fresh, and there was a large selection of delicious Japanese dishes. They even offered lesser-known items like sunomono, which is a cold salad of vinegared noodles with vegetables or shrimp. My 10-year-old daughter claimed it was the best sushi she's ever had—end of discussion—and we live in Manhattan! She would give it more than five stars if Yelp allowed it.
Seriously need to try it, the portions are exactly how they describe. The price is 16.95 for the dinner, and so worth it. The waitress was one of the best I have had. Now for the actual quality of the food, its damn amazing. The fish was so fresh, and it was authentic. Cant go wrong coming here. Doesnt look like much from the outside, but my gosh it is something great on the inside.
Really great find. Very ingenious rolls combining various fresh sushi with yummy sauces. Had two all you can eat menus- one for 13$ and one for 16$. We went for the 16$ one but either one is fantastic value and delicious sushi nigiri, gyoza, udon salad. Local beers for 3$! Waitress was friendly, fast and knowledgeable. All in all a great find. Would definitely go back..
The portion of our order that we did receive was excellent, but unfortunately, we only got half of it and were charged the full price. I requested the remaining items and ended up waiting 40 minutes, but they never arrived. The waitress provided some of the worst service I've ever experienced. I will not be returning. I had the all-you-can-eat lunch, and it was quite fresh. The miso soup was warm, and the cabbage in the teriyaki was not hot. The rolls held together nicely. The waitress was friendly and attentive, quickly clearing and cleaning the tables. Overall, good quality for the price.
