We waited over 20 minutes for our meals and weren't offered any more coffee during that time. After noticing others around us receiving their breakfast, we inquired about ours. When our food finally arrived, it was cold—both the eggs and the toast. Our waiter didn’t check in on us at all. Afterward, we spoke with the hostess, who was very kind. She took our meals back to the kitchen to be warmed up and then returned them to us. They were warm, but not hot enough, though we were too hungry to wait any longer. Our visit to Nikos was nothing but disappointing. We come every year from Florida for a Family Reunion, and have made it our little tradition to eat at Nikos every year because we loved it so much. I am originally from Greece so it was always nice to see a good Greek restaurant in town however not sure if Ownership has changed in the last couple years, but the food was sadly awful. We ordered a Saganaki Flaming Cheese appetizer and it came out already burned on the bottom, a sloppy piece of Cheese, and when our waiter tried to “light it on fire” he burned the cheese even more AND the napkin underneath it, serving it to us with ashes.for $15!!!! I had the pleasure of dining at this establishment for lunch and would rate my experience overall very positively. The food was exceptional, earning a solid 5 out of 5. I highly recommend the salad, which was fresh and delicious. The service was commendable as well, receiving a 4 out of 5, as the staff was attentive and courteous. The atmosphere also contributed to a pleasant visit, scoring a 4 out of 5; it was inviting and comfortable. Came here to celebrate my wife's birthday, it was a short 3 hr drive for us, but there aren't any good Greek restaurants near us. We came for dinner, about 5ish on a Friday, good crowd, friendly staff, our server was very friendly and attentive, offered some good recommendations. Growing up on Greek food, we know good authentic cooking, and yes this is authentic. Grape leaves were good, as was the whole meal. Everything was fresh, and there was a lot of it. We had a wonderful dinner. We started with a cup of soup, shared the sampler platter, and ended the meal with baklava. The service was excellent; the staff was attentive and friendly.
