went with friends, group of 8, had the set menu of 4. reasonably priced with delicious and innovative Japanese cuisine. had the lamb and tuna for entree. both these delicious were presented beautifully. tuna was fresh and succulent. I had duck config for the mains....Duck was tender, meat falling off the bone. dessert looked fantastic, too bad I was too full to eat anymore. would return to try other dishes. amazing night, good service and very pleasant surroundings.

service and vibe is still excellent and love that it is a beautiful BYO spot. sad, although eating seems to have deteriorated, perhaps a change of the chef as a style does not even seem the same. Previously beautiful, delicate Japanese cuisine, today is mostly...smooth, slowly cooked (over boiled) meat and deep fried options. it is still in order, but unfortunately not as great as it was once.

very disappointed with eating $55 for 3 courses, very small meals. the escape was cold and soggy, the main was very salty and the pantinacotta was overcooked. the mango sorbet was delicious and the garnishes were also pleasant. will not come back because there are too many good Japanese restaurants in perth.

Returned here after several months in a party of 6 on a Saturday night. The food and service were as good as ever but he night was slightly spoiled by the noisy patronage, fairly normal for Perth restaurants, especially around Christmas. have been meant to go here forever and so glad to finally make it. eating was delicious hard to choose a favorite. auberginen, kühen tempura, steak, matsu green teeiscreme everything amazing. the staff was friendly and attentive, please bellini is good!

We went as a group of 6. Ordered the 7 course set menu and BYO’d wines likely to pair and some Japanese beer (Asahi). The food was terrific, spacing between courses was perfect and the staff were very attentive. Highly recommend it. We’ll be back.

while we choose the 4 person courses meal, with the exception of vegie dishes, all netzen seems to have the additional $3 fee on the top. that does not seem fair in view of the deal to say $70 per person above. very disappointing.

Our first time there . The 8 of us all thoroughly enjoyed our 3 course meals . We selected different combinations, but all agreed the presentation and quality was excellent.

This is some of the best food I have ever had. Won’t specify the dishes, as pretty much all of them have been tried across a few visits. All amazing!!
