I recently had the unfortunate experience of dining at a restaurant with incredibly poor customer service. The owner and waitresses are all first-generation Japanese immigrants who do not prioritize customer satisfaction. After paying the bill, they expect customers to leave within 5 minutes. During my visit with a group of 10 people, we spent over $300 with an 18% gratuity included. However, we were only served hot tea once throughout the entire meal, despite repeated requests. When a glass of water was accidentally spilled on the table, a friend asked for a napkin to dry her chair and belongings. I've been coming here for almost ten years. I wouldn't say it's the best, but it's a decent spot. The sushi is fresh, and there are plenty of roll options. My mom loves their curry udon and soba; I enjoy their curry; my brother is a fan of the steak teriyaki; and my dad really likes the eel don and ramen. My friends also enjoy their sushi sets.
Hands down one of the best sushi joints around. Small place, but delivers huge on food, service atmosphere. Ask for Mariko or Miyuki as they both are 5 star waitresses, very sweet attentive as well. Been going here for close to 30 years! That's how great of a place this is. Enjoy!

My wife and I tried for the first time and it was very good. It's a very small restaurant with maybe 10 tables. The food was good. I had the teriyaki chicken and beef and it was very good, not overcooked. My wife had the sushi rolls and the fish seemed fresh. We would go again.
Ordered the lunch special with tonkatsu and tempura. The serving size was satisfying and the tempura fry technique was on point. It's hard to find restaurants that execute it well. The service was attentive and the staff were nice.
Best bang for your buck sushi place! Got the dinner special with chirashi bowl for only 20 bucks, had chicken, sashimi and a lot of other stuff which was well worth the price! Highly recommend!
A great neighborhood sushi restaurant for over a couple of decades. The quality of sushi has been consistent and fresh.
