I have used this takeaway for 15 years or more,I also used to work in Indian takeaways for approx 12 years so have a good understanding of what goes into what dish and how they should taste, I also no good Indian food and this place is normally spot on Normally the hottest I would have is a jal Jul or madras,however lately my taste buds have changed and I don’t think I could have madras hot as anything with chilli in has to be a small amount otherwise my nose and eyes stream like a tap. I am 45 years old and grew up eating curry in Manchester. I am very familiar with the taste of authentic curry dishes. Tonight, I spent £60 on a meal for my family and it was terrible. The food was inedible and tasted horrible. I ordered the set meal for three with additional items like chips and extra sauces. The chips were burnt and the curries did not taste right. They were overly spicy and lacked any flavor. The Massalla curry, which is typically a creamy red curry, was a messy, flavorless dish on my plate. We pre ordered at 5pm on just eat for deliver at 8pm knowing that they would be busy. We have still not received our order over 2 hours late. the restaurant would not answer their phone when we tried ringing and when they did answer 2 hours later our order still hadn’t left the restaurant. I would not recommend this restaurant if you want good customer service. I was really disappointed with the customer service I received after paying over £25 for this order.
Phoned an order at 1700 for delivery at 2000. Order still not here at 2200, lady on the phone at restaurant said it’s with the driver it will be 10 mins 100%. It’s was then after midnight and no phone call to say it’s not coming and no delivery. Will never be using again after ruining our New Year’s Eve meal. Prepaid for delivery and the Chicken Tikka Marsala was disgusting. Inedible. Bright red tasting only of tomatoes. When I called to discuss this with the management he wasn’t interested. Be warned- horrible!! I said I threw the food in the garbage and the manager said “How do I know this?” Not interested at all.
