Nissi Vegan Mexican Cuisine

I've had the opportunity to try Nissi VegMex twice this week because of their soft opening! Grand opening is tomorrow 4/30! The first time I visited, I had the taco plate with pastor and carne asada. It was really delicious and was accompanied with rice and beans. Although the tacos were really flavorful, the provided salsa is the punch the tacos need. There are three salsas, red, orange, and green. I really liked all three, but the spiciness of the orange was my favorite! ? it's almost like that yellow bird habenero salsa. I had an amazing experience at Nissi. The restaurant had plenty of natural light, which is a rarity, and the temperature was pleasantly cool. It was impeccably clean and surprisingly busy for a Monday at 2:30 PM! The soy fajita burrito plate was absolutely delicious! Thank you, Nissi, for providing so many tasty, cruelty-free vegan options. You truly make the world a better place! We were recommended this place by a vegan server at Nori, and she was absolutely right! The restaurant offers traditional Mexican cuisine, all plant-based, bursting with authentic flavors. The portions are generous, so for two people, it might be a good idea to share the 4-taco plate along with some nachos. Ordering two main dishes would have been way too much food. The service was quick, and the dining area had a nice, quiet atmosphere.

These may be the finest tacos (full stop) that I?ve ever had. Long time vegans with marvel at the gorgeous flavors and texture, while you omnis will just think it?s an obnoxiously good taco. Hands down our new fave place in Austin. Their food is so flavorful and fresh. Today was our second time visiting and both times were amazing. So far we?ve tried the carne asada burrito and the flautas. PS: If you like spicy, ask for their habanero salsa. It?s the best! ?? We totally recommend!!

DELICIOUS! However, I would really appreciate it if they offered options like mushroom and vegetable tacos instead of just soy or wheat. That's the only reason I don't go every week! I try to avoid soy… but I can't resist those delicious tacos al pastor every now and then.

A plant-based Mexican food truck is truly a dream come true! Nissi's tacos and nachos were absolutely delicious, and the portions were generous! The food and service are exceptional! Plus, the artwork surrounding the food truck is definitely worth a visit.

The food was absolutely fantastic—it's hard to believe it was vegan! The young Hispanic man at the front was incredibly friendly and helpful. I highly recommend trying this place; I would give it a perfect 10 out of 10! Reserva una mesa ahora

Both the birria tacos and flautas were incredible! As a vegetarian, I appreciated having a variety of options to enjoy these fantastic dishes. I will definitely be returning!

I ordered the chicken flautas, and the service was quick and friendly. The flautas were quite good as well.
