Bank Holiday Monday in Stamford. Most places are shut, and the town is a lot quiter than usual... My wife is MADLY hungry, and insists we choose somewhere QUICKLY (this isn 't a request! , so we head into the very first place we come across No1 Kitchen. We 'd glanced at the menu on the way in, but our only real concern was that it was open, and it had food. A very friendly waitress showed us to our table, in a lovely corner spot, and I availed myself of the facilities, which were spacious and pristinely clean (something of a 'yardstick ' for us in terms of a well looked after restaurant... The waitress was soon back for our drinks order, and once she 'd delivered our Cokes we went for the Ho...

Have read a couple of reviews on here about rude staff and poor food I have to say that wasn’t the experience we had when we visited for drinks. We ended up ordering food and staying 4 hours! The staff were excellent very professional and super friendly. The atmosphere was great, music was great, cocktails and food great! I am planning on returning this weekend with my husband it was so good and he’s super critical about food and drink places) I know he will love it as I did. I know everyone has an opinion but I honestly don’t believe the 2 negative reviews I read based on my experience. Highly recommend!

If you like a good burger, you’ll love this place. Not particularly a burger fan, but outvoted on where we ate and this was wow! Halloumi, onion rings and sweet potato fries were delicious, chunky chips a little over cooked. Burger was delicious with lots of yummy toppings, all beef and chicken burgers were cooked perfectly with the right amount of sauce. Thank you, will definitely visit again. Shame people smoking in the outdoor dining area, but suppose it’s to be expected.

Amazing food and service. I have dined here numerous times and it never fails to disappoint. We sat out on the terrace, which overlooks Stamford meadow. Lovely atmosphere, relaxed and friendly. The cocktails are amazing in taste and value. Highly recommend and will definitely be returning. Reserva una mesa ahora

Absolutely love it here, it’s my go to place for a girls night out, fab food, nice cocktails, lovely friendly staff, would highly recommend. Food portions really big sizes and no rush for you to leave, will be back again and again

First time visiting and it was really good. The chicken and hallumi burger was really tasty, cocktails amazing value seems to be happy hour every hour: Staff were really friendly. Will definitely be visiting again.

1st visit, but hopefully not the last. Good honest food (large side portions) .and fabulous service. Staff are extremely friendly. I recommend the breaded mushrooms... delicious

Had a fabulous meal sat on the terrace food was very tasty, well presented and great portions. Cocktail deal two for £10 was great too will definitely be back Reserva una mesa ahora
