I discovered No Filter Coffee through social media where they showcased their vegan options, so I decided to have lunch there today. They offer a variety of choices such as bagels, toast with vegan butter or cream cheese, and toasties made with Applewood vegan smoked cheese. I tried the festive vegan sandwich called The Vegan Dipper, which included Quorn chicken slices, stuffing, cranberry sauce, and a side of vegan gravy for dipping. The selection of cakes was so tempting that I had to go back for a slice of salted caramel and a chocolate jaffa cake. The coffee was top-notch and served in eco-friendly Vegware cups, while the sandwiches were wrapped in foil and the cakes in cardboard boxes....
I was recommended this independent restaurant by a friend and I was not disappointed! They offer a wide variety of options, including hot and cold drinks, as well as a variety of bubble teas. All drinks can be made with alternative milks and they even offer vegan whipped cream and toppings. We tried the vegan big dipper on sourdough bread and it was amazing, especially with the vegan dipping gravy. The cakes were also fantastic, especially the salted caramel and jaffa flavors. We recently stopped by for some drinks and desserts. The restaurant had two vegan cake options available: Victoria sponge and chocolate Jaffa cake. We tried both and they were both delicious! The coffee was also excellent, with a variety of milk alternatives to choose from. Our parents had tea and coffee along with a non-vegan lemon cake, and they were also delighted with their choices. The staff was very cheerful and welcoming.
I have visited this place multiple times now. First came for the clearly marked, and plentiful, vegan options. Subsequent visits are because everything I've ordered has been really good and the service is always top notch. More vegan options have been added since my last visit.
