Visited this restaurant to catch up with family, but unfortunately, we regretted not checking beforehand as there was a football game on. The pub was extremely busy and noisy. When I ordered a mocktail at the bar, I was disappointed to find that it was basically just fizzy pop with no umbrella or garnish. At around £4, I wish I had just ordered a lemonade instead. There were five of us, and while the food was slow to arrive at the table, the plates were warm and the food was okay for pub grub. This pub is perfect for sports, families, and delicious food. The addition of sunny weather made our experience even more enjoyable. We initially just came in for a drink, but ended up ordering food because the dishes coming out of the kitchen looked so appetizing. The staff, especially Graham, took great care of us. The signature burger was huge and delicious, and the sirloin steak was cooked perfectly and paired wonderfully with the beef dripping and merlot sauce. We enjoyed our meal with refreshing ciders on the patio while our child played in the playground. We had a fantastic afternoon thanks to the attentive team. Overall, we were very impressed.

Meal was fine but the cost of a pint of IPA was £4.95 when the same pint a few miles away in Wickford, in the same chain, is £3.12. Seems extortionate considering the pubs are very similar. Also don’t appreciate dogs being allowed in the restaurant when you’re eating.

Quiz Night at the Noak Bridge pub. Can get a bit chaotic, but the staff are keen and helpful. Food is varied and well prepared, but they could have a few more vegan options (hello Greene King). Very dog friendly as long as they are calm and well behaved.

The dining experience was wonderful, with fast and friendly service. Graham, our server, was extremely attentive and delightful. We will definitely be coming back.
