Well...I've been wanting to try Noble since John Ross...the chef extraordinaire ...left Tu Casa in Mississauga. I will say... I was totally not disappointed. I started with the organic salad. Interesting presentation that unfolded like a beautiful Monet picture.I truly regret not taking a before and after picture.Next time...and... it tasted awesome!My dining partner had the truffle fries...with truffle aioli/parmesan and scallions. I tasted them and I could OD on them! Ssssooo good !Entree for me was the St. Thomas rainbow trout.Excellent! What more to say!Dining partner had roasted crab cake.Again..excellent! We decided to try Noble Bistro on the advice of friends. Having seen a number of restaurants open and close in this location made me wary, but what the heck?We arrived on a Friday night about 6:30 without a reservation and were promptly seated inside. Decent wine list and interesting choices on the menu. The service was quite good, though less attentive as the night wore on and the place got busier. A little slower, but still good. (a little advice - wait staff that smoke should make sure they clean up after their break before dealing with customers) The food was excellent - I ordered the Scallops and Braised Beef and it really was excellent. I've been here twice, the first time for lunch as a couple and again to celebrate a birthday with family. Each time the food was delicious and elegantly presented in smaller-sized portions. Fortunately, they didn't pile on fries and pasta to take up space on our plates. The wine list definitely did not disappoint! Staff were courteous and attentive, and the restaurant itself is well-maintained with a relaxed, warm atmosphere and original artwork on the walls.Based on the dishes we all tried, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu (I've had the lamb burger and scallops, both of which were amazing). My only criticism is that the truffle fries were tasty, but slightly too salty for my pal...

I was at Noble Bistro with a group of women and I was happy to see Lake Erie Perch on the Menu and thrilled to try it. I was not disappointed, the small Perch filets were deliciously pan fried, tasty small potatoes and fennel. Everything was delicious. Service was wonderful. Everyone enjoyed their dinner. I returned with my husband within a few days for the Perch Dinner again and again we both enjoyed it. I am not an easy one to please when it comes to fish, as a pescatarian I expect good quality fish dinner and Noble Bistro met my expectations. They will become one of my regular restaurants. My husband and I have been to Noble Bistro twice. We had appetizers and 9oz wine in the late afternoon on the patio. A bit pricey for this with tip $100.00. Portions were very small, although tasty. Service was excellent. Our second visit was for lunch. i highly recommend the crab cake. My husband enjoyed his fish and chips, he said it was very good. However he commented that the actually size of the cod was very small and the amount of excellent fries heaped on the plate were too much.

This was an excellent experience, what you should expect of a downtown Oakville establishment. Made reservations, greeted and seated right away, immediately obvious the staff know their stuff, being able to recite recommendations without hesitation, know the menu back to front, including wines. Decided to go with the chef's selections which were basically created on the spot with an element of surprise. Beautifully presented and delicious 4 courses, highly recommend!

Not sure how he does it, but every experience at Nobel Bistro is better then the previous one. Seems that Chef JohnRoss Woodland is now refining and perfecting his already great creations.It is really a fantastic experience, every time. Food beyond extraordinary and most professional service.Well Done, JohnRoss! Congratulations to you and all your staff!!

Read positive reviews so decided to dine at Noble. Very disappointed. Short ribs and scallops served warm. Steak warm. Only 6 tables inside the restaurant. A few tables outside If this is the food served on slow night it is unacceptable. Searching for good food in Oakville Reserva una mesa ahora

Stopped to eat lunch at this lovely restaurant with one of my best friends. It was her birthday and when the staff found out they decorated her dessert plate and the desserts were free. Such great service and the food was excellent. Well worth a visit.

lovely location, amazing food. Service was great. I would recommend to make a reservation for the patio in advance just because it is so nice.
