I have been a loyal customer of this restaurant for years, but my recent visit was very disappointing. I believe in respecting everyone's opinions on vaccination and mask wearing, and as a proud Australian, my friends and I chose to wear our masks during our visit. However, it felt like we were being treated unfairly compared to the maskless patrons in the cafe. We had to ask twice for our order of two flat whites and a cappuccino, and after waiting for 30 minutes and watching others receive their orders before us, we finally received our drinks - all of which were flat whites. When I inquired about the cappuccino, the barista simply took the lid off a random cup and sprinkled some chocolate...
Made us feel like we were worst perceivable people because we wore masks (as per law). Coffee order messed up and several unmasked patrons served before us despite clearly ordering before them. I was really looking forward to my coffee here because friends had recommended but the reality was very different. Not one of the staff wore masks. Disappointing.
On my way down to the gold coast called in for a coffee and found an absolute gem. Wonderful staff, wonderful patrons and the best coffee ever. Everyone so friendly. Prices were very reasonable. They could easily charge more with the quality of products and service. Will be frequenting again and again.
This is tucked away in an industrial area of Ormeau, where Dan roasts his own organic coffee beans (ONSITE) he does supply beans for retail sale.His team onsite boasts a serious brew and I will travel daily to have one of his brews.If you like COFFEE you need to try this place.

I can't emphasize enough how amazing this place is. I travel from Yatala every day because nowhere else comes close. The staff is incredible and the management is forward-thinking, making this café a must-visit for all coffee and café lovers. It is a true gem.
