This place reminds me so much of a place in Philly that I love a lot (Ray's Cafe and Teahouse if anyone is going). It has the mismatched, cozy, homey, slightly worn feel AND it has siphon coffee (although I did not get to try). I ordered two sandwiches in this establishment by the phone, when I went to pick up the order the cashier made me an extra charge for the credit card payment, when I asked her why I was not notified before of this extra charge, she replied, “for the other “……..although it is legal for some establishments to make an extra charge for the use of a credit card, IT IS ILLEGAL NOT TO NOTIFY THE CUSTOMER of that extra charge through an announcement or verbal information before making a charge

I ordered lunch for 2 and a doughnut. One of the items was wrong, and another was not included. It was more painful than a typical missed item because it was relatively expensive. Determined to get justice, I went back (really wanted that apple fritter). They were kind and apologetic and completely took care of me. The food was tasty and I appreciate how they handled my return visit. Excellent service! Wish they had better hours.
Best cold sandwich in Chicago.. I'm convinced. I live right next to Nohea Cafe so I often order ahead for pickup for lunch and I've never been unhappy with my order. I just wish they were open on weekends!!
It is a shame that this restaurant doesn't give his doordash drivers the tips that they got for making a good delivery! What a shame, it should be embarrasing!
Great local spot for handmade sandwiches, wraps, breakfast etc. We've used them for catering as well as individual orders, always great quality food!

We had a company lunch catered with soup, sandwiches, salads and fruit tray. EVERYTHING was FRESH and DELICIOUS. Highly recommend.
Best Sandwiches Paninis in the West Loop! Great service too. Wish they had longer hours, but great for lunch!
