I 've kicked myself on two occasions: both times when I forgot to place an order for my holiday pie from Noir d 'Ébenè. Closest almost like home flavors I 've found outside of my mother 's kitchen. Customer service is spectacular because every customer is treated like a beloved family member. Pâtisseries prepared with love are sold and served with love here.
I recently visited this restaurant and tried the chocolate chip cookies, bourbon cookies, marshmallow, and dark chocolate. Everything I ordered was amazing. The chocolate chip cookies were the best I have ever had- nothing compares. The quality of the chocolate was outstanding. The service was also excellent. I am already looking forward to my next visit!
What a charming and inviting restaurant! It is operated by a single person who takes great pride in their work and makes most of the items in-house. The chocolate and pastries are all homemade and delicious. We highly recommend trying the cheesecake - it was absolutely delicious! We will definitely be returning in the future.
The handmade chocolates are the real deal, and the New Orleans-style beignets are a delicious treat. What’s more, the genuine warmth and kindness of the lady working there towards my daughter, who was visiting Chicagoland for the first time, made a massive impression upon her. The food and desserts at this restaurant are always delicious! The atmosphere and energy inside are wonderful. It's a great place to grab special treats for gifts, a picnic on the beach (just 5 minutes away), special events, and more.
Experienced gluten-free and standard cookies special order from this shop and they are like no others! Fantastic…and look forward to trying other delights from this shop.
