This is a very unassuming Flushing mom pop Korean restaurant on Northern Blvd and though it's called Nolbu Sushi, the menu is mostly Korean dishes and kimbap. A small corner of the menu has more traditional Japanese style sushi, but we haven't tried those yet. Even though kimbap shares many ingredients and a similar look as more delicate maki sushi rolls, kimbap has its own style with cooked meat pickle fillings and every seaweed wrapped rice roll is gigantic, similar to a Futomaki roll. Despite having two other kimbap places nearby, Nolbu remains my favorite spot for kimbap. I've been coming here since elementary school, and the quality has consistently been excellent, if not better. Their menu offers a wide variety of Korean comfort food and reasonably priced kimbap. Although prices have increased due to inflation, the generous portions and fillings make it worth it. My favorite order is the eel avocado kimbap, but everything is packed and delicious. This was my second visit to this restaurant, but it was my first time dining in. I ordered the omelet with tomato rice, and it was delicious, satisfying, and quite filling. For my second dish, I tried their famous chicken strips, which were incredibly crunchy, juicy, and fresh. No meal here would be complete without an order of kimbap! Their most popular option is the pork belly kimbap, which is slightly spicy and absolutely delightful. Overall, it was a substantial meal! The service was great and friendly. It's definitely a wonderful place to eat.
Absolutely delicious! I got toe 3 Kimbaps: bulgogi, spicy bulgogi, and pork cutlet. They were great. We took it to go. Service was fast and they have us free miso soup as well. Can’t wait to go back.

Avoid ordering the sausage kimbap; it's not worth it. The kimbap contains raw spinach, which should be cooked, and despite being listed with carrots, there are none included.
I absolutely love the food! The portions are fantastic! However, I have to give it a 3 out of 10 because they always seem to forget something from my order.
Actually, it deserves 5 stars! The portion sizes are quite generous, making every dish worthwhile. The authentic Korean food is absolutely delicious!
The pork cutlet wasn't freshly prepared, and I was disappointed with the experience. When I tried to contact them about it, they hung up on me.
