We love Korean food and came here because of the good reviews. Unfortunately we left bitterly disappointed. At best this is Korean "style" food. Authenticity is not their strong point. I would not mind that as long as the basics were good. We ordered the Bibimbab and the Ramen. The Bibimbam came with cold rice, cold bland meat, no fried egg, no side dishes and long not shredded Mesclun lettuce leaves (I did not know that I had ordered a Korean salad!). The essential bean based chilli sauce was not available and we were offered chilli oil. Very disappointing. The Ramen was worse. Hidden away in the relatively new Bakery Lane precinct is this fabulous little Korean restaurant with a broad interesting menu ( unlike the many Korean chicken restaurants that are flourishing in Brisbane ).We both had the delicious bowl of Teriyaki Salmon on rice with salad all thrown together. The food looked great, very fresh and perfect for a late lunch. On a coolish day there are plenty of heaters to keep you warm in the courtyard.Reasonably priced and quick efficient service.
What a great little place. Great location in the Valley. Never eaten Korean food before. The waiter helped us with our food. He order our starters and main meals. All food was fantastic!!! Beacause we were early 5.30pm it wasn't busy but buy the time we left it started to fill up.When there try the passifruit beer. It was the best!The waiter even sat down and sopke with us. He was very interested in us as we of him.Definitely will return!!
If you don't know what Korean food is like you might think this is okay but it's not.Cold rice, incorrect accompaniments-- just weird but spicey.The dumplings we had were great. The bibimbap was like no other I have ever seen or eaten (not in a good way) and the kimchi fried rice was cold with mixed salad leaves.The location is pleasant but we will not be coming back-- except for those dumplings maybe.

Three of our five meals were stone cold. We're pretty sure one of them was a leftover delivery meal that got left behind, it even came out in its cardboard container. Plus the bibimbap was no good at all. It's too bad because the location and atmosphere were good. We asked for a refund, which we got.
Fue por casualidad que descubrimos este pequeño redtaurante. Está en un callejón que desemboca en un patio interior. La comida estaba deliciosa. Bien cocinada, bien predentada. Pero todavia fue mejor la atención y simpatía con que nos atendieron. Perfecto!
4 of us found this little gem of a place tucked away in an alleyway / courtyard. All the meals came out tasting great & well priced. Service was good. Can't ask for more ! Would certainly go back next time we are visiting Brisbane.
