Nonna's Kitchen - Reserva de mesa

Catching up with my reviews ate here on 14th September, in my bid to try out the new local places. Very busy restaurant and had to book in advance to try it out, following a takeaway option the week beforehand (which was very average). Extremely modern fresh interior and friendly enough welcome in. Was a noisy night as a live band was playing at the other end of the restaurant. Sat us down at the end of the restaurant in a booth and waited a few minutes before getting waiter back to ask for drinks. Ordered a bottle of wine and soft drinks. 25 minutes later... they appear back.. Not a good start already, given the waitress had taken our food order before the chap came back with 2 soft drinks...

What can I say,we are recently moved to bishopbriggs and this restaraunt came highly recommended to us,so much we had to try it. On arrival we sat at the bar area which is very bright and modern,within seconds a friendly waiter came to see what we would like to drink,with a vast range of drinks available we were unsure and asked him to recommend something ,he told us to try a couple of cocktails ,french martini and aperol spritz,they were yummy ,so good we had to try another one before we ate our food . After our second cocktail we were taken into the main restaraunt to a cosy booth which could easily seat 5 people ,we were a table of three , We ordered starters and main meals,it took around...

Nonnas Kitchen is located by the canal in the centre of Kirkintilloch. The restaurant itself is a good size and caters for large groups, couples and families. There is a comfortable bar area at the front with a large dining area to the rear of the restaurant. The menu is your typical Italian fare with a great selection of pizza, pasta and other main dishes. I have eaten here twice now. On my first visit I was a little disappointed and would have reviewed it with 3 stars. I ordered Spaghetti Carbonara but didn't really enjoy it at all. It was not an authentic carbonara and was overloaded with cream making it bland and incredibly rich and heavy. I was with a large group of friends however and...

I have never eaten here until this visit. I was pleasantly surprised. 2of us visited for an evening meal on a Thursday night. The place wasn't too busy. The guy on the bar offered us drinks on arrival. We were seated in a nice comfy and modern dining area. A nice eclectic menu. Pasta, and pizza as you would expect with a few other options like a burger and steak for those not in the mood for strictly Italian food. The food arrived in good time and tasted amazing. My only complaint would be I would have liked more for the price. On the subject of prices they were a little pricy for an out of city restaurant but not silly and the quality was good. Decided to come here for lunch with a friend as she recommended this so bad haha. I was pleasantly surprised when I went in as the interior was gorgeous and it smelled delicious as soon as you walked in. The waiter was very attentive and quick at taking our orders which is always a good thing! The food had great presentation and tasted lovely (sorry this is a late post and I forgot what I had! . Will definitely come again when I am in Kirky next :

Visiting one of my favourite Italian restaurants and we are outside Siting here just now with a lovely view of the canal and the sun is out, days don't get any better than this. The food is fantastic and the staff are very friendly and helpful. This place has a family run feel to it and everyone is welcome all the time, I don't think I have ever had a bad time visiting this restaurant.

worst restaurant experience ever! Just back from Nonna's, decor is nice and atmosphere was good. Food was very average for the price and our mains came out lukewarm and not cooked properly, had to send the second dish back as well before giving up and telling them to forget it. The manager was exceptionally rude and I wont be back.

Got a takeaway delivered from here and it was brilliant it was like eating a proper talian meal but in the comfort of your own home. Food was great, portion sizes were outstanding. Will certainly be having again. Reserva una mesa ahora

Popped in for Breakfast and was delighted with the tasty full English breakfast we got! Good service quality produce, cooked perfect and good price. Will definitely be back.

Delicious fresh food. Very tasty. Generous portions. Great setting. Helpful friendly staff. Even some gluten free options (yet to be tried)
