There seemed to be some uncertainty as to the future of the restaurant on our last visit, refurbishment plans had not happened, menus ere starting to look a bit tatty like the outside but what a meal. I had a prawn Thai salad starter followed...with spiced ground beef, my wife mixed satay followed by a prawn dish. We also had a vegetable and rice dish. The food was very well prepared and presented, perfectly spiced as requested and more than ample portions. Service via a charming waitress. Well worth a visit.
warm welcome by the boss who was able to explain her dishes, the spices used, the way to make authentic Thai cuisine as when she was a child in Thai and shared some memories. The kitchen is at the same level, everything is homemade. crude products are purchased in import and then they are all processing. festival of flavours. Since yesterday, it has been my best Thai restaurant.
This place is incredible. A bit expensive as each plate is around 16 euros (yellow curry) and 13 euros for pad thai. However after going to numerous places around Bordeaux which are slightly cheaper. This place wins hands down. The meals were full of flavour,...I wanted to eat more and more. Cute little restaurant. Definitely recommend if you want some great tasting thai food!
We had satay and papaya salad to start lovely Then green Thai chicken and an amazing steak on steaming platter. Amazing flavours , really fresh. Wonderful bottle of red too. The place itself is not much to look at, and it's not located with...all the other restaurants, but is well worth the visit.
