We had our wedding reception at Noosa Waterfront Restaurant and Bar and it was amazing! The venue is absolutely stunning and it's a great venue for canapé followed by sit down dinner style wedding with plenty of room for dance floor and different spaces for people to relax. The team were fantastic, we didn't have to worry about a thing all night and the communication leading up to the wedding was great. All questions answered and options explored. The team also seemed to work incredibly well with all our other vendors. We've been coming to the Waterfront for several years and always enjoyed it however this last trip was particularly underwhelming. While both the appetizers we had were good the mains were very ordinary. Between the four of us we ordered the risotto, tagliolini, spaghetti and the wagyu beef. Surprisingly all the pasta/ rice dishes were really bland. The Wagyu was apparently very nice. Not helping the evening along was the fact that we were seated next to the open doors, the two ladies (one 88yrs) were very cold, but no-one asked how we were doing. It wasn't a warm evening. Such a shame this has been one of our favourite places to eat but at the prices they charge its not worth `trying' it ag...
Waterfront Restaurant Noosa Ville. What a disappointment. With an our online booking for two and the $100 down-payment the meal we had at the Waterfront was arguably the worst we’d experienced in 50 years. Having been impressed by the quality and size of the Mooloolaba prawns and plentiful lobster in the local fish shops we thought a prawn and a lobster pasta (around $38-40 each) would be a good choice. When our meal arrived an hour later, predicated by some of yesterday’s bread warmed up a bit, we struggled to find the fragments of prawn or lobster pieces amidst pastas both of a blandness unable to be disguised by an excess of sodium chloride. Had the chef gone home early?
Hi We have been comming to the Noosa bar restaurant for 20 years, and each year the menu gets worse. There are never any oysters, even though it’s on the menu and the food choices are very limited. Adding a curry or pizza would be nice. Also, the food is very inconsistent . Sometimes the food is cooked and presented well and other times it terrible. It’s like nobody cares. I have tried to reach out to the food and beverage manager and have left my feedback with no response or improvement. Very disappointed..
Our visit here was for a “special milestone birthday”. Ten of us in the family group and we ordered a variety of meals between us. Prices were reasonable, wines a little expensive, beer at average prices for restaurant lists. Service was very good, friendly and efficient. Location very pleasant. Would probably return should we be visiting Noosaville again.
This is a top-class restaurant. The food is of the highest standard in every respect. Slow cooked beef cheeks and other dishes left us all totally amazed. The wine list is very extensive..and somewhat expensive. By any standards, this place is of the highest order. You will get what you pay for. The service matched the high-end everything. So good!!
Noosa Waterfront Restaurant is a lovely traditional Italian restaurant offering great service in a beautiful location on the Noosa River. From when we walked through the entrance we knew it was going to be good because the attentive and friendly service from the staff. A great choice for a special occasion, highly recommended.
We decided to have the degustation menu and it was extremely enjoyable. The variety of textures and flavours was very well thought out and the last dish (dessert) they bought out was such a.flavour explosion. Perfect way to finish a meal. The service was 5 star and the atmosphere was perfect. Would definitely eat there again.
