Now the first thing I must do is apologise to this young lady (business owner) as I promised this write up for August 2016. The Poss. and I went through on Friday 22nd July and stopped for morning cuppa round 10ish. As also promised earlier this year we were doing the western flank of Port Phillip Bay reporting on the Surf life Saving Beaches for international visitors. Since Marty and Kristin and the 4 generation family that run this business have taken over and is now called Norfolk cafe, we have been going there on a regular basis and made to feel like part of the family. They have a medium range of snacks, including muffins and cakes that are locally baked, the service is very, very friendly and the staff are all exceptional and the view across Altona beach is absolutely amazing. Great coffee can be had and other food and one can also hire paddle boards, rent a locker to keep valuables in whilst one swims or paddles and there are also beach accesible wheelchairs available. This is a great little open air cafe right on Altona Beach. Very accessible for disabled or people with prams.The range of food for such a small place is wonderful catering for gluten free or vegetarian. Quiches. .Pies.. Muffins. Toasties and lovely coffee at $4 a cup. Muffins also $4 so cheaper than many in the main street. The staff are very friendly and most obliging. Really worth a visit on a lovely day. It needs to be sunny as all seating is outside

We stumbled upon this little cafe in the Altona Life Saving Club on a cycle ride one day and have been back several times since. The food is always really great, the staff friendly, the location appealing and the prices reasonable.If you are in the area and want coffee and cake or a light lunch, I would highly recommend it. Found this place on a bike ride and have been back several times since. Good position opposite the beach. The food is great value, tasty and plentiful with good variety: much nicer than the pricier places on the main street we have tried. Staff are friendly and service is quick. A great find!

Cool chic cafe on Altona beach opposite the Altona Beach Surf Life Saving club. Friendly service, good coffee's and yummy home made muffins. Outdoor area to dine in and allows to overlook all the kiddies partaking in "Nippers" program early on a Sunday morning.

Had an egg & bacon toastie here for breakfast. Nothing fancy but it was nice. Cool outdoor seating area which I think is the best feature of the cafe. Quite entertaining watching passing traffic. Staff are friendly.

Hot dogs are decent and not very expensive. Didn't have to wait long for service and was in and out within a few minutes.

My favourite cafe in Altona, great food, view and friendly atmosphere, pooch friendly. Pepe loves it as well!
