I’ve been trying to reach the owner for months, but the staff there say they don’t have his number and don’t know when he’ll be in. It’s frustrating, especially since it seems like one of the employees might be preventing him from making more money due to her dislike for certain female customers.
I couldn't purchase anything because the smell from the meat department made me vomit—no exaggeration. Others have noted the same issue. It's alright if you need to grab a few items in a pinch, but just avoid smelling anything while you're there.
This location is one of the original stores and hasn’t had any renovations. I find it too dark and cramped for my taste. However, it does have an authentic vibe. I would prefer to drive to the Buena Park location instead.
The restaurant had a cool vibe overall, but I find myself curious about one thing: why do they have armed security? Would they actually resort to violence over someone stealing food? Reserva una mesa ahora
This is NOT a Northgate Gonzalez Market. It's a local bodega that sells groceries and meat. Small selection but a one stop shop for your next carnita asada
This is my go-to spot for buying chicken to grill. I recommend the boneless chicken (Pollo sin hueso preparado) along with the avocado salsa.
