North River Tavern

NRT is a regular spot for my neighbor and me whenever we pick up food from a nearby restaurant. I’m particularly drawn to their draft beer selection. We’ve been here many times and plan to keep coming back. Although I was always curious about the food, I had never actually dined here until recently when my neighbor and I decided to stop by for lunch. The menu is fairly extensive, but when you're at a bar for the first time, a burger is usually the go-to choice. I must say, the burger I had was quite delicious, and my friend thought so too. Managers, come on! I ordered chicken sliders through Uber Eats and what I received was just a boneless chicken nugget thrown onto some bread with a pickle and sauce. The side of broccoli consisted of only four pieces—I've seen more generous portions in a 99-cent bag at Publix! Other reviewers have praised the food, but from this experience, I'm just not seeing it, haha.

I've known about this place for years, and it truly stands out. It's located in a great area with excellent bartenders! Their UFO onion appetizer is absolutely fantastic. It's a perfect spot to visit on a Sunday—I even got to play my favorite songs on the jukebox!

The wings I had were quite tasty, and I also enjoyed the onion rings as a side—they were excellent. Now I’m looking forward to going back to try the burger because I’ve heard their burgers are fantastic!
