I went to this restaurant with some friends and we decided to order a variety of dishes to share. The prices were great for the amount of delicious food we received. The portions were large enough for sharing family style and we enjoyed our meal with some white rice. I particularly loved the garlic pork ribs, which was my favorite item of all that we tried. Despite the small size of the restaurant, we were impressed by the quick service and overall good experience. Parking may be a bit challenging, especially during peak hours, but it is worth the visit as this hidden gem is definitely worth checking out.
I would rate my personal dining experience at Northern Cafe a perfect 5 out of 5 stars! This is one of the best Chinese restaurants I have been to with reasonable prices, generous portions perfect for sharing, and exceptional customer service. Whether you choose a noodle dish, rice dish, or dumplings, the food is absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant and cannot wait to return for another fantastic dining experience at Northern Cafe.
I came here because I was hoping that they had the same menu as the one on Wilshire. Even though they didn't, the food that I had was really good! The price was reasonable and the portion was pretty big. The plate that I had was $15 and was able to feed 2 people. Not all the food was as great as I thought it was going to be but it definitely met my standards when comparing both locations. Would definitely come here again without a doubt!
First time here very clean and Very delicious food we had soup dumplings/ juicy pork dumplings, orange chicken and shrimp fried rice with spring rolls. Fast service and food was hot and super good ! I definitely will be coming back and I definitely recommend this place !!

This restaurant should be as busy as the two generations next to them. The food is amazing - the noodles are fantastic, the string beans are fabulous, and the dumplings are delicious. You should definitely come here, it's that good!
We absolutely adore this restaurant and make a point to stop in whenever we are in the area. Our favorite dishes are the spicy noodles and the lamb plate, although we found the lamb to be a tad too salty.
Good service, great food. No delays. Food was ready when I arrive. Great tasting good. Definitely give this place a shot, if you haven't already tried it.
The food is delicious, the service is fast and friendly, the prices are good, and there is plenty of parking available.
