After searching for a pub that was still open, we stumbled upon a restaurant with a 4.9 Google rating. Despite its unassuming exterior, the place was packed and we were lucky to snag the last table. We ordered the 3 Meat Dinner, which came with delicious homemade hash and a generous portion of veggies and gravy. The desserts were traditional and satisfying, made with care like your grandma used to make. We left five hours later, thoroughly satisfied with our £33 meal. Definitely worth a try.

Went for Sunday lunch, food was lovely. Table for 6 and enough sides provided to more than fill everyone.Steak pie was spot on. Didn’t have Michael’s signature Belly pork (a must try for anyone who’s not) but will be next time. Well priced too. Reserva una mesa ahora
We celebrated a family birthday at this restaurant today at lunchtime. The atmosphere, food, drinks, and service were excellent. All nine of us had a great time during our visit. Thank you very much to Michael and his team for a job well done.

The restaurant showed a lot of potential, but ultimately fell short. The steak was very overcooked and the fish was drowning in butter.
