For our main courses, my friend chose the Ricotta Gnocchi, while I went with the Bucatini Bolognese. Both the pasta and gnocchi are made in-house. I tried a couple of her gnudi (ricotta gnocchi) and found them to be a bit dense, but the sauce they were served in was fantastic! My bucatini was cooked to perfection, and the bolognese sauce was full of flavor. It’s made with wagyu beef and Berkshire pork, but I felt it had a little too much cream, which masked the meat's flavor; a lighter tomato sauce would have really allowed it to shine. Overall, the taste was still amazing! For dessert, we shared the Chocolate Sachet, which was filled with white chocolate mousse and raspberry puree—absolute...

While enjoying a busy, hot summer festival day at Pewaukee's lakeside, our group of three couples walked into the perfectly chilled Artisan 179 for a late lunch and a cool drink. We were surprised to be seated immediately and grateful for the offering of iced water! Shortly, our refreshing Watermelon Sangrias arrived, followed by a variety of appetizers, including an enormous and delicious dish of roasted brussel sprouts, which even Todd, who detests brussel sprouts, tried and loved! Each plate was nicely presented, and the food was tasteful and plentiful. We appreciated the elevated casual ambiance, the attentive service, the clean restrooms, and picture returning for another group lunch or...

The food was really well done, and it's hard to beat the view out onto Pewaukee lake! Our service was spotty with a few things taking far longer than they should've (drinks, bread, apps). Server was very personable, and made up for a lot with a surprise birthday desert for my wife (even though we really wanted some angel food cake inside that mug! The short rib was tender and delicious, so was the snapper, and the cauliflower bits can with a tangy and spicy sauce that was delicious. The price tag and the lack of really excellent service made this meal a little underwhelming, and it's the second time that it's been that way. We will probably be back, but we won't rush back.

Started with cocktails...smoke infused manhattan was excellent and the presentation was over the top impressive. Next appetizers, dumplings with peanut sauce, tempera cauliflower and popcorn with truffle salt were all delicious with generous portions. Main entrees were delicious and beautifully presented. I had the salmon and will definitely go back and enjoy it again, the short ribs were so tender they fell apart. Lastly deserts, rumchata bread pudding and a chocolate box filled with yummy cream. Wish I had taken pictures but we all were so busy enjoying the food, the live music and good conversation we forgot! Highly recommend! Reserva una mesa ahora

The service was terrific; the atmosphere and location were excellent , but the food was a mixed bag. While my dinner was very tasty, (we had corn chowder soup and split the Red Snapper) our friends' dinner was a series of disappointments. They didn't care for the raw brussels sprouts salad and sent it back for the fried brussels sprouts with pine nuts and honey. That was ok. but not a big winner. Their Chilean Sea Bass came in a thick brown sauce with what appeared to be bok choy on the side. Not a favorite! Next time, we will just have cocktails and a burger and sit outside wearing hats as the setting sun is very bright and hot.

The corn and crab soup was absolutely delightful. The Wagyu meatball sandwich paired with truffle fries was incredibly tasty. You can enjoy a stunning view of Pewaukee Lake while dining. The staff is professional and friendly, ensuring you receive excellent service. The decor creates a peaceful and warm atmosphere, adding an artistic touch that makes for an experience you'll eagerly anticipate returning to.

owner is very rude and does not welcome children into the restaurant. We were very disappointed with this and we would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. We will stick to our inclusive fine dining restaurants in Chicago.

One of my favorite restaurants in Lake Country! The food is excellent, and the service is top-notch. Owner Ted is a fantastic host. The outdoor dining offers the most stunning sunset views over Pewaukee Lake! Reserva una mesa ahora

Date night gem. Downtown quality out in lake country. Everything we've tried here is good and menu always evolving. Small but upscale spot. Service is always great. One of the best spots in LC.
