The entrees we had were herb encrusted haddock, bbq meatloaf, mustard chicken and chicken piccata. They were all very good but the mashed potatoes and spinach were salty as was the gravy in the meatloaf entree. The service was fine Marlo, our waitress was really great. She brought me the sautéed spinach when I realized my meal came with broccoli, which I can’t have. We liked the 2 different price options for the wine selections. Overall, it was a nice meal, nice atmosphere and an enjoyable time with friends.
The service was great! No complains about our waiter. The food on the other hand was nothing to write home about. The Chicken Caesar Wrap, the chicken tasted like it was reheated and not fresh at all. The caesar salad tasted way way way too fishy. Overall we paid $130 and left 95% of the food of the food on the plates.
not their average joe has changed! smaller portions and more expensive. we had a great waiting person (every,) who was very attentive. Unfortunately, she was the best at our meal. probably will have to find another local spot. Too bad.
Not Your Average Joe’s is always phenomenal with my daughters’ food allergies so we will definitely be back! Those of us without allergies love the food also!

Excellent service! Jambalaya is an excellent choice for dinner. Comfortable seating in an upbeat atmosphere! Always enjoy dining at NYAJ in Watertown !
