We sat down to our table and the servers must share … we had two and neither person introduced themselves. Just made us feel rushed when clearly we had some older individuals in our party that hadn’t even sat down yet. We ordered the antipasti which was two versions of super dry (sitting out old tasting) Parmesan and a few other things; and very hard cracker like accompaniment. It was not very good but we paid for it so we ate it. We had five people in our party, each ordered something different; and every single item was over cooked and poorly seasoned. The dish with prosciutto, I confirmed would be crisped; the prosciutto was thick sliced (which is not how prosciutto should ever be sliced)...
this is advertised as a raised eating in grand rapids. eating was good, but did not definitive the prices they charge. we ordered calamari as an appetizer, which was served on a plate with metal serviettes. my entree was the cannelloni della casa, which was listed as rolled filled pasta. noto famous Italian sausage baby spinat . bolognese sauce, parmesan mozzarella cheese and there were no noticeable calves and there was very little sausage in the plate. my hos has the Auberginen-Rollatini and had very little auberginen. the dress code was listed as a fun-filled and we were completely dressed when everyone wears jeans, shoes, hoodies and baseball caps. the best part was dessert, the limoncel...
They do not have a hostess working. The hostess stand is not in view of the bar or dining room, so you have to go look for somebody to seat you. Once seated, it took over 10 minutes until somebody came to talk to us. 10 minutes more to get water. When our meal arrived, we ordered a second round of drinks. They never delivered the drinks. Fortunately, the second round of drinks was not on the bill that we had to ask a busboy to get for us because our waitress never came back. Overall a bad experience. We will not be coming back.
Pasta wasn’t cooked on either of our dishes. They charged the full price (of a shellfish dish) for a conversion to a vegetarian dish which is ridiculous and they clearly don’t cater to vegetarians well. I wasn’t served shellfish and didn’t consume it, so I really shouldn’t have to pay the premium for it. We had such high hopes for a decent Italian restaurant in the area. This isn’t it for us.

This restaurant was amazing! The staff was hospitable and knew how to run the place efficiently. They made excellent drinks, kept the venue clean, and had a stunning wine cellar. It was a truly awesome experience.
We had a wonderful evening. We enjoyed Emily’s chocolate hazelnut martini at the bar before dinner and then had a wonderful meal! The wine and food was simply amazing! Thank you for such a wonderful evening!

Our waiter was very busy forgot the bread and oil which we love. But food was hot and good

We waited half and hour and were never served except for water, so we ended up leaving.
