This place is amazing! The BBQ is worth its price. Especially for how close it's to me. It's always a treat to meet the owner/cook of the BBQ I eat. The owner was very friendly and left me with a positive feeling. You can tell he likes to feed people. (That's a great thing IMO). My old lady visited today. She and my father got some brisket sandwiches. She didn't expect them to be toasted, and fyi she's not someone who handles change well lol. But she actually enjoyed the sandwich. I'm honestly surprised she didn't move it to soft bread like she usually does. Even if you're not looking for a new BBQ joint, Novas is at least worth a try.
This restaurant is an absolute must-visit when you're at COTA! The owner and staff are incredibly friendly. The food is outstanding; you can really tell that love and care go into everything they prepare. The breakfast croissants are incredibly fresh, and the ham is smoked to perfection. As for lunch and dinner, the brisket is top-notch and holds its own against the top local competitors. Don’t miss the jalapeño cheddar sausage—it's juicy and packed with flavor. Service: Takeout.
Thanks to Google, I found this place close by to where I was camping. Excellently located next to COTA, it was already getting busy when I arrived at 8 in the morning. Daniel helped me long distance to put together a lunch order for my crew of 20. Everything was delicious, ready on time, and the guys raved about how good it was. We had ribs, brisket, and sausages, with four different sides. Service: Take out Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20

The staff was very friendly, but unfortunately, my meal was disappointing. The meat had an odd taste, as if it were old. On the plus side, I really enjoyed the watermelon drink; it was quite tasty. For takeout lunch, I spent between $20 and $30.
Thursday before the 22 USGP our group stopped for gas and I needed water. BOOM! Local food, I'm ready, and not disappointed. I don't remember what it was, but that's not important, what is was that it was AWESOME. Service: Take out

Brisket was delicious, their bbq sauce is splendid. My whole family loved their food! Don't forget to get a large agua de sandía!! AMAZING!!!
