In my opinion, Numero Uno Pizza Pasta serves the best pizza! However, the restaurant itself is in desperate need of an update. The dine-in experience was very disappointing— the interior felt old, worn-down, and dingy. On top of that, our server struggled with English, making it difficult for her to provide good service. To make matters worse, the bottom of our $20 deep-dish pizza was burnt, which could easily be avoided by using a bit of oil on the pan. I love Numero Uno’s pizza, but not this location. Looks like I’ll have to drive to Pasadena for my next pie. I won’t be returning here, which is really unfortunate.
Avoid this place at all costs! It has turned into an overpriced, low-quality mess. I miss the days when this restaurant was a favorite. Now, it would be better if it closed for good, as it has completely ruined the reputation of what used to be an excellent pizza spot. It’s truly disappointing, and it saddens me every time I walk by. I really believe it’s time to shut down.
Ah, the classic pizza parlor! They offer a unique marinara sauce that I absolutely adore. Their Sicilian-style pizza is thick and satisfying, and they serve turkey sandwiches just like a traditional delicatessen.
The pizza has a mouthwatering crust, and rather than the usual tomato sauce, they use chunky tomatoes, which really bring out the flavors of the toppings and cheese. The other dishes are equally delicious!
