My husband surprised me with a birthday dinner at this restaurant, and we were thrilled with the overall experience. Although it was pricier than our usual choices, we were eager for the Michelin-starred experience and Nut Tree Inn did not disappoint. The meal was exceptional in every way. The staff were incredibly friendly, the service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was elegant yet welcoming to all. The food itself was truly exquisite, with each dish being a work of art in presentation and, most importantly, in the perfect balance of flavors and textures. Every bite was a delight. My spouse and I celebrated our 60th wedding anniversary this week at The Nut Tree Inn. The warm welcome we received set the tone for a fantastic day. The meal was excellent, the wine was one of our favorites, and being surrounded by two log burning stoves made us feel like we were in heaven. Last night we visited the Nut Tree, we had the Tasting Menu and Flight of Wine. As usual the food and wine were outstanding! We were looked after by Kyle Sophie who were amazing, they were fun, knowledgeable and couldn't do enough for us....So lucky this restaurant is close to home, we will definitely be back very soon. Thank you guys as always, an amazing team and experience all round.
Fantastic place.What’s not to like from the lovely charming front of house team to the amazing chefs and food in this beautiful cosy property. What a refreshing change to have amazing food but without the pompous fine dinning experience that sadly now seems the norm....We loved the staff and the delicious food and everything about our visit was perfect.
we haven't been back in the nut tree for almost 3 years due to the feared lockdown, but our return was worth it. the food and the hospitality is as good as ever. we had a fabulous evening and cannot wait to return soon. we love the relaxed atmosphere and this lack of skill as much as the great food. Go on what you do so well!
Fantastic food and service as always! Particularly loved the mushroom veloute amuse bouchée! The wine pairing had some beautiful wines on and was well worth the money! Service was phenomenal! Very friendly staff who really made our night and we cannot wait to return again!!

This restaurant is perfect in every way. The turbot I had was the best I have ever tasted, and the service was excellent with an amuse bouche before the meal and another before dessert. I highly recommend this amazing place; their Michelin stars are well deserved.
