The Nutley Diner has a very friendly surrounding neighborhood, a feeling that soaks well into the establishment. Staff is a bit on edge and inattentive but for the most part food comes quick and the bill comes quicker. My experience with the Bagel Deluxe left me confused as it had no familiarities that I conjured up as being Deluxe. The bread was lukewarm, topping were all separate and appeared as a salad, and worst of all I had to ask for cream cheese and it was given to me in packets like the ones served in school where you have to spread yourself. I had an amazing experience at this diner! Our waitress, Carrol, was wonderful and attentive from the moment we sat down until we left. The food was fresh, hot, and arrived in a reasonable amount of time. I highly recommend this place for brunch or a quick meal. The cream of broccoli soup was delicious, my chicken fettuccine Alfredo was amazing, and my girlfriend enjoyed her cheesesteak without any toppings. I only wish I had more money to tip Carrol!

A dinner for 2. I had a chicken, bacon, Swiss avocado sandwich with fries. She had the 3 slider cheeseburger and disco fries appetizers. I had a fountain diet Pepsi. Everthing tasty. Great staff atmosphere. Decent parking. We didn't use bathrooms. Note that some parking is free. Other parking is pay. Overall a good eatery.

This place is way too over priced. The service is mundane, with the waiter barely checking on us. The food is very dry and tasteless. I don’t know how a place could mess up a classic burger. Don’t get the onion soup, one of the most dreadful meals I’ve had in my life. Would not recommend and will not be visiting again. Reserva una mesa ahora

Food was ok at best. Home fries was not cooked or browned enough, I could still taste the raw potato. Waffle was not crispy or not even browned. Very hard to flag someone down for a coffee refill. With all that, it's not cheap!

Salad was delicious. Well worth the price. Waitress was awesome. Very polite, knew what she was doing and always came back to make sure we were ok

The server was very friendly and attentive, and even went out of his way to accommodate a substitution. The restroom was also clean.
