Firstly I must repeat that this is a wine bar. It serves food, but there's a limited (though excellent) choice. It's also not particularly cheap. The wines are generally fabulous though, and the choice is bewildering. Fortunately help is at hand. The staff are astonishingly knowledgeable about wine and happy to talk about it for as long as you like. They are, without exception, wonderful.The place itself is gorgeous with big padded leather chairs, plenty of space and a magnificent curved bar. You may sit at a table or the bar.The plates of nibbles range from cheesy potatoes to foie gras, via charcuteries and cheese, and are generally very satisfying, but the steaks are fabulous.
Concept unique donc sur Paris pour boire des grands vins à maturité et vraiment découvrir des trucs sympas. Carte majoritairement bâtie avec des vins honnêtes (très peu de références conventionnelles, vignifiées avec des produits etc). Nourriture à la fois sommaire (pas sophistiquée) mais de super qualité aussi. Quel charcuterie, wow !Service très sympa, avec du conseil de qualité sur chaque produit. MAIS, une lenteur de service proprement hallucinante.... Le soir où nous y étions le restaurant était pratiquement vide (trois tables) et pour toute commande il fallait attendre 45 min, vraie fausse note. Il faut urgemment changer ca !
Very good explanations, geared at the American visitors. Apart from my mother and myself, everyone was American! We had a small glass each of Champagne, two whites, two reads and a dessert wine (at which stage I wished I had left a bit of another wine, as I'm not a fan of dessert wines). The paired cheese was very interesting, too. I'd give this 4.5 rather than four stars if that was possible.
a very nice experience. The place is beautiful and authentic. The welcome is very pleasant. We tested a wine and cheese tasting and were conquered. The quality is at the rendezvous. the sommelier that animates is very calé. attentive, he answers all questions. We come out of having tasted very good products and learned a lot of interesting things. Bravo to the whole team

that was one of my favorite wine experiences to this day! a large selection of weeping and plentiful cheese-red combined with our knowledgeable somme made for a perfect afternoon! even if they hold for a glass or a bottle of wine, they will love it!
We have done many wine tastings but still found this one fun, enjoyable, and educational. Also really explained the French system of classifying wine. The environment made it really easy to slip into the role of wine ???? expert.
O chateau est un bel endroit Le cadre y est très agréable et le personnel au petit soin La carte des vins n est pas donnée mais de qualité. On a rien sans rien Je vous recommande cet endroit pour boire un bon verre entre amis
Great French wine is offered here and the staff really knows their stuff! The tastings are phenomenal and be sure to get the cheese or truffle platter!
