On a 3 hour journey on a very hot day we passed this restaurant and the sign for glaces. The owners could not have been more friendly. They are welcoming and smiley and were careful to clarify what exactly we wanted with our limited French. Whilst waiting for our ice creams we were given a welcome jug of iced water an unexpected surprise. My partner had a simple 2 boules and I asked for a banana split. Although no banana was available the lady offered me a strawberry ‘split’ with strawberry sorbet, chantilly cream, vanilla ice cream, ample fresh strawberries and mint, garnished with a spray of fresh redcurrants. Christian et Chantal qui ont repris le Defi depuis 1 an et vous accueillerons avec leur générosité et leur grande gentillesse. On y mange bien, c'est copieux, dans une ambiance conviviale et agréable. Si vous savez vous y prendre, peut-être Chantal vous entonera une chanson d'Eddie Piaf...incroyable. A ne pas rater. Tout les gens du coins se retrouvent au Défi.
Une adresse à retenir pour déguster un bon repas en toute simplicité mais convivialité et sympathie, sans oublier le repas copieux et bien cuisiné.
Très bon accueil, avec un choix d'entrées de plats et de desserts soit du jour soit à la carte qui sont servis très copieusement. Je recommande !
