this family-run restaurant is worth a trip. very good parking in front of the restaurant. the road is not so beautiful to sit outside on the veranda covered with a green sign (kiwi trees). great local atmosphere with fast...and very friendly service! each request is fulfilled according to the option. that is the hospitable portugals! my family loved this place so that we went there and were again surprised to positiw! great appetizers like olives, melons with ham, cheese with jam, brot are obligatory and served directly. (something to know, so forget the bad votes because at tad before). If you don't want to, tell them. the chef leads the grill and he is excellently qualified in his business...

this place was recommended to us by a native and it was really very good. great quality home cooked eating I had the salmon and garnel kebab and it was perfect. my children had omelette and sweet and thought they were excellent. the price and the service were great. I noticed that another TA reviewer commented that they were served and were charged for brot, melone, cheese and ham that they had not asked. we saw a series of table coming and going and they all got the same (as we did). it seems that the restaurant corresponds to a cover and to be open to every penny given the quality and quantity. they see it as part of a very local meal in the opposite to an unforeseen fee.

Em Covas, no meio da serra, encontrarão este restaurante, um misto de estabelecimento para trabalhadores locais, para residentes nas redondezas e para turistas como eu. Com constante fila à porta, que é um quase garante de qualidade, lá me sentaram e pude degustar as melhores pataniscas do Minho e um bacalhau à casa de comer e chorar por mais. A posta mais que generosa, as pataniscas, o bacalhau o 1/2 lt de tinto verde e o café e bagaço .... tudo por menos de 25 €. Um achado e com volta prometida....

Eu estive lá em algumas ocasiões. Comi lá hoje. Decidi não voltar mais porque embora a comida seja muito boa, principalmente os grelhados, estou muito decepcionado com o serviço. Eles só prestaram atenção em nós para pedir a comida e trazê-la. Não conseguimos nem fazer com que prestassem mais atenção em nós. Tivemos que levantar e procurar alguém para pedir sobremesa, pedir café e até pagar. Esta não é a primeira vez que observamos um serviço muito ruim. Não voltaremos novamente Reserva una mesa ahora

Comida genial y a buen precio, se llena bastante y NO reservan. Lo único negativo el camarero del bar que parece que esta enfadado o amargado siempre , el resto genial para repetir

Comida muito boa. Bacalhau com dose para 3 pessoas (em fase não adolescente, que estes comem por dois... . Ambuente modesto, mas muito agradável. Atendimento muito simpático.
