All right. after a month in rhode island we begin to establish some absolutely reliable locations. o dinis has not only the best we had here so far, but is at the five top places where we ate in the usa. they get absolutely authentic Portuguese cuisine perfectly cooked, friendly (if harried staff, and an unbeatable atmosphere. the sound of the spoken Portuguese fills the air, and the decoration stretches back in time (both of us discovered radios on the wall that were heard by our grandmothers! we went to dinner a few times and dinner once. the menu is quite identical for lunch and dinner. the chouriço appetizer is a huge connection of perfectly smoked sausages...read more

Excellent. I went to O'Dinis a few weeks ago for the first time and i lived in East Providence all my life and ate at every other Portuguese resturant in the city. O'Dinis is outstanding, the service was excellent the food and spice blend is excellent and the atmosphere is excellent and i highly reccomend it . I also just recently learned that the owner was the Portuguese singer during the wedding scene of Mystic pizza.

Excellent experience. Wonderful food. This is a family run jem. Serivice is very good. The staff is helpful and cares about your experience. The littleneck appitier is a meal by itself. I had the rabbit special which was delicious. Broad selection of Portuguese wines The deserts are amazing.

Try the Flan !!. What O Dinis lacks in ambience more than makes up for in the most delicious Flan dessert. Most Portuguese restuarants that I've been to will serve you a burnt curdled mess, but not at O Dinis, they've been offering a perfect flan for many years. Reserva una mesa ahora

Small restaurant, great food, fair price, waitress sucks. Way to slow, and they make themselfs look way to busy for such small restaurant, if they were working in a real restaurant they would get the boot on the first day.

Great Place. This isn't a fancy restaurant like the others in the city. It's a small mom and pop shop with great food and great prices. If you have an hour for lunch stop by you will get your food quick.

Yum!. This was my introduction to Portuguese food. Simply delicious restaurant! Always a packed house, friendly helpful wait staff. Not for vegetarians. Try the FLAN!!!!! TO DIE FOR!!!!
