While staying in Azeitao, we went to Galaro to order "chicken churrasco" for our big group adults and children). Coming into Galaro from the busy street, you don't expect to see over chickens on the spit, slowly roasting to perfection! Pedro and...his team are simply superb when it comes to service. Locals or passing thru, are treated to a big smile and delicious chicken. Next time visiting Portugal, we will definitely and on purpose make a pitstop in Azeitao to visit o Galaro and ask Pedro for some of his churrasco

while we were in azeitao, we went to galaro to order chicken surgery for our large group (11 adults and 10 children). coming in galaro from the busy road, they do not expect to see over 50 chickens on the spits, slowly roasted to perfection! pedro and. his team are simply excellent when it comes to service. local or past thru, are treated to a big smile and delicious huh. at the next visit in portugal we will definitely make a pitstop in azeitao to visit o galaro and ask pedro for some of his churrasco.

One of the best roasted chicken that I have tried in a long time. The service is to take away, so keep that in mind. Ordering is quite simple and we managed without knowing Portuguese. The service was great and the chicken was super good....We paid almost nothing for a lot of food

Good and unexpensive cooked food. The barbecued chiken is very suicy but they also have other interesting barbies and home made chips
